Has anyone had to send a VisionTek card back?

Yesterday as I was replacing the mobo in my computer I noticed that the fan had seized up on my VT GeForce 3 Ti 200. I emailed tech support at VisionTek and they replied today that they want me to send them some information about the card to start the RMA process. I would like to know if anyone has had to send their card back to Visiontek and if so, how long it took from the time to ship out to get it back? I have the box and the original CD (and the card of course). Did you send the box and CD back too?

In most cases, the manufacturer doesn't want the original box and software back.

Hmmm........the fan is dying on mine too. Have already received an RMA number but haven't sent the card in yet. They don't want the software or box, just the card. They say 1 to 2 weeks turn around time.
I wonder if this is a problem with these cards. I have 2 of them and the other one is running perfectly.

I sent mine back to VisionTek yesterday (2/8/02). I will let everyone know the results - especially how long it takes to get my card back. I am wondering if they will repair the one I sent or send me a new one? I will find out and post that too when I get it back from VisionTek. :)

Well, it's now the February 20th and no card yet. I have had no computer now for 12 days. :( I am thinking about getting something to tide me over until the card comes back.

I got a my card back from Visiontek yesterday (2/23). It took exactly two weeks. They sent me a brand new week 51 of 2001 6564 GF3 Ti 200. It also has a nicer heatsink and fan combo on it. It looks like the HS/Fan from the GF2 Ultras.
