Has anyone had to RMA a drive to Cendyne?

Hi.

I'm having problems with my dvd burner that I can't seem to get worked out, so I might need to RMA a drive to Cendyne. Has anyone here had to go through the RMA process with Cendyne? If so, what did you need to submit? Receipt? How did you submit it? Any other information? How long was the RMA turnaround? Do you know if Cendyne is in California? I had thought that they were based there.

TIA,

Sal

I'm in the process of getting a new CD-RW drive from Cendyne. I just filled out the Tech Support form here (on 01/14/03) and they got back to me in a few days (01/19/03) asking for my name, shipping address, and other information. They mentioned nothing about sending back the defective drive, so I asked about this in my reply (also on 01/19/03) and haven't heard back from them since.

I'm assuming they're just going to send me a new drive (I specifically requested a Lite-On as a replacement), but I guess we'll see. *shrugs*

You bought the drive from Cendyne? Why not RMA it back to the place you bought it from?

I have the same drive too, fortunately no probs for me.
