Has anyone had this problem with Halo?

I just got Halo for the PC (Never played it on the Xbox, but it seems pretty cool so far). I just have a problem using the sniper rifle. When I zoom in and use the night vision, the window just goes black. I believe it's a rendering error. I was doing it with the Omega 3.6 Drivers. Then I upgraded to the 3.8 Cats and still the same. My buddy with a 9800 Pro in his main rig and a 9700 Pro in his SFF, has the same problem too. Does anyone else?

I have the same thing with my 9700 Pro.

The issue is not present on my Ti4600 Rig.

start the game with the switch -use14, or just don't use nightvision.

My freind had the same problem but getting the new catalysts fixed it for him. So i thought that it was just a driver issue, but apparently it must be something else.
