Has anyone had any luck with a cheap Chinese tablet?

I bought my 6 year old a Kyocera Hydro Android phone for her to use as a wifi device. She's uses it for Minecraft Pocket Edition, YouTube, and Netflix. (And loves it)

The phone's screen is really small, 3.5" I believe. I have a nice laptop and Note 3 for my myself, so I'm not interested in buying an expensive tablet. But, I wouldn't mind spending a LITTLE money to give her a bigger screen. Top quality and battery life are not priorities. Low cost is the key. We don't travel all that much, and she will take this tablet to her daycare. The likelihood of it being broken or stolen would be high. So much, I don't really want to spend much over $50.

This one caught my eye. The fact that it's ugly and I'd probably choose pink works out well. The less other kids want to play with or steal it, the better. Decent specs, nice price.

I know these tablets usually use iPhone batteries, so the run time is crap. She'll be near a power source most of the time, so I'm not really worried about that. I'm not too worried about the low res screen. She won't care.

Does anybody see a deal breaker here? Many of these $50 tablets have many positive reviews. (I know that doesn't mean anything...) But $50? I'm just about ready to take the gamble...

Don't know why the link isn't working... Spam filter?

So it has an allwinner A23, which is cortex A7. It has no out of order execution, its not even a full 2 wide decoder, 64 bit neon, and I think it might even be on 40nm. What I consider to be minimal specs these days is: 3 wide decode, out of order execution, and 128 bit neon. It is going to choke and stutter often. But the gpu is fairly new and it can probably handle videos and your typical low footprint flappy bird type games without too many issues so it will probably be ok all in all.
