Has anyone gotten Sid Meier's Gettysburg or Sid Meier's Antietam working in Win2K?

In SMG, with the 3rd patch installed, I get an error in MSCRV.DLL onload and there is no sound in the game.

In Antietam (demo), the game crashes as soon as I load a scenerio.

Does anyone have a workaround?
