Has anyone got their hands on a GeForce 4 Ti 4400 yet?

Sunday morning, Circuit City, PNY 4400.

I walked in at 11:05, and the shelf where it should have been was empty, with a tag for it. I asked one of the employees if he had any in the back. 5 minutes later he came back with 2.

Lucky me.

well hopefuly PnY is putting pressure on visiontek to get their 4400's on the shelf. I have a feeling it will be may before my card gets here from gateway. but i still think $234 shiped is worth the wait.

no matter. im still waiting on the gigabyte KT333 MB to hit the shelves too. I will have my ultimate machine sooner or later!

Well I just picked up my PNY verto 4400 at Circuit city for $299. I had a visiontek one on order from buy.com for $275 but they kept dicking me around and wouldn't give me an estimated ship date (the product was supposedly in stock when I ordered!), so tough luck for them.
I hope PNY compares well with visiontek ... otherwise I'll be kicking myself in the arse for hte next year or 2!

Question: PNY lists a 300watt power supply as a system requirement. what's up with that? I have an older DELL system (pIII533) and I think the power supply is only 200-250 watts. But it runs my voodoo5 card fine (this card has an additional power connector though). Am I going to have power problems? If so, what are the symtoms?

You can't hurt anything to try.

Symptoms of insufficient power can be random lockups and crashing.
