Has anyone got the 2 extra USB port addon to work?

I plugged in one of the addon 2 USB port cards to my KA7-100 per the instructions in the manual, but they do not appear to be working as they are not detected and antthing I plug in to them does not work. Am I missing something?

Got the same problem with my K7TPro2-A... I wonder if any of the technophiles here has a wiring diagram for the connectors so I can check for proper wiring? Win98 seems to find at least the controller to install....

The wiring diagram is in the MSI book. On a side note, some USB powered devices will not work on the secondary USB controller (i.e. USB video cammera, USB scanner etc...).

I meant the wiring diagram for the USB connector itself... Which wires do I need to move around in the plug to get them working ... I'm assuming that the order of pins is mismatched in the connector itself. I've tried plugging in both my Sandisk card reader and my Sidewinder USB gamepad, to no avail.

Here's my crude attempt in Ascii art. Bear with me....

Imagine the end of the USB connector (where it connects to the motherboard).

|[] [] [] [] []| Red, White, Green, Black, Black (or nothing)
|[] [] [] [] []| Black (or nothing), Black, Green, White, Red

Most USB connectors have 4 wires, some have 5. If this doesn't work, try switching around the green and white wires. I'm not at my MSI computer, so I can't be 100% sure...

Yeah, that's what mine looks like... still nonfunctional tho. I can either go try another one from CompUSA or buy a hub. Oy. Wish I knew why it wasn't working... enabled in BIOS, everything.
