Has anyone flashed their HD7970 with HD7970 GE Bios?

I saw this thread that there is a publicly available HD 7970 Ghz bios upgrade for Reference HD 7970. I am wondering if anyone has attempted to flash their card with it?

If so:

1) Did overclocking on the GPU/memory improve?
2) Is it still possible to adjust the GPU voltage in MSI Afterburner / Sapphire Trixx after the flash?
