Something tells me that I might need to perform a low-level format to fix my 4GB USB flash memory stick. Can't get warranty help. Anyone done a low-level format? If so, which program will do that?
When inserted, Windows reports that it's a 1092GB drive (Yes...1 TB!!!). As such, FAT32 format fails. Since XP will not allow me to try FAT16, I used Win95. When it took too long, I pulled out the memory stick.
Now, when the stick is inserted, it stops XP dead in its path until I pull it out. Same thing on four XP machines.
Any ideas? Thankx.
