has anyone ever used pioneer cdr media?

i was going to buy some but want to know how they perform? any advice will be appreciated. do you think kingston would be better or pioneer? lmk!

also, is there any difference with the black bottomed cdr media? are they worth the extra money? where can i buy them?

Most of my CDRs are Pioneer. Reliable, but nothing special.

Black CDRs are just a gimmick....they perform fine, but unless you want to use them for something special, they are not worth the price premium. Here in Hong Kong, black CDRs command no price difference or standard gold/silver/blue CDRs.
