Has anyone ever tried out a Tempur-Pedic mattress and returned it?

I got one of those "special unadvertised offers" in the mail, and this one sounds pretty good. They're offering 2 free "Millennium Neck Pillows" (retail $250) for free with a 13-week mattress trial. No obligation to buy, and no fee other than the original $159 shipping charge.

My fiance and I are in the market for a new mattress and will be moving next month, and figure it couldn't hurt to give this one a try for a few months (which will give us time to mattress-shop as well).

Is it worth it, and has anyone ever done anything like this?

Couldn't you bump your old thread? Unless I'm mistaken....

How would you return it too. Do you have to ship it to em? That'd cost a pretty penny also.

You won't want to return it and will be stuck with a $2000 bill... They are the best beds of any I have ever tried.

You're mistaken. And they pick it up, free of charge minus the original $159 shipping fee.

No way we can afford a $2000 mattress right now! After we return it we'll probably go to Costco to try and find a nice Queen-size pillowtop for under $500.

If you can't afford something why are you wasting $159 on three months of usage?

$159 for 6 months is $26.50/month, which we can afford. It'd be worth it to try out a Tempur-Pedic mattress for that long.

Awesome, thanks for the tip. I'll be on the lookout for it.
