Has anyone ever read "The Purpose Driven Life" ?

It's a good book....

No seriously. I've read the book and now I am purposefully driven to drive recklessly through life.

No ok really seriously This is another one of those "common sense books" that just spews a bunch of crapola that you already knew because it's common sense and so dumbasses read it and go hmmm uh huh uh huh that's right! go on! yeah! preach it brotha! You know like a preacher just gives you common sense so about the only people that can ever learn from it are people with less than common sense. If that's you....sorry bout your luck but this book's for you!
 
My wife is reading it in church. It's an October thing I guess.

Whatever. She's still trying to get me to read "Waking the Dead". Right.

There are a lot of people with no common sense, so maybe it's could that some authors realise this and try to help them.
You'd be suprised at what some people are like, don't assume that the majority have even half a brain.

I can't tell from your post that you know what the book is about, yet you regard it as "common sense". How do you expect someone to take your "critique" seriously? It's a daily devotional targeted at mainly beginner christians. Since you say the only people that learn from it have less than common sense and you didn't learn anything (much less know what the book is about), then logically you must have less than less than common sense. And yes I read it.

Its not a common-sense or self-help book. Its a religous book.. please don't comment on things you have no idea about.
