Has anyone ever ordered from GameVe?

I've been thinking of ordering a graphics card from these guys, but something about them makes me hesitate. I can't exactly describe what it is, but hopefully a little feedback will help.

Read the fine prints with these guys. They charge 15% restocking fee even on returns of defective items. Many people seem to find them ok but this company is on my personal "Do not buy from" vendor list. I bought BFG FX5900 from them that was DOA on arrival and suspect my box was reshrinkwrapped.

Bought from them a long time ago and all was well. But if they do charge 15% regardless, say f*** 'em

I personally did not have a problem, but since many others have, be weary!

I have bought two videocards from them and have had no trouble. Just make sure you buy the right video card because a 15% restocking fee sucks. I also suggest using pricewatch.com to find a card or froogle.com

IIRC lot's of people had problems with the BFG FX5900 deal at gameve earlier this year.

I guess you've met each of their employees and can confirm that he or she is Chinese, right (as if you could even tell in person)?

Anyway, I was looking to buy the MSI AGP 6600 GT since it for sure includes an HDTV dongle, and the VIVO is nice, too. GameVe is the only place selling it, but they're selling it at one hell of a premium ($250 with shipping). Thus, I'm just going to wait until Zipzoomfly or Newegg gets some AGP 6600 GT's with HDTV dongles in stock. The high price and the universal 15% restocking fee (thanks, I didn't know about this) just aren't worth it to me.

3 video cards before I got one that worked. Stay with newegg, mwave, ZZF.
