A few years ago a member posted a suicide note on the forums. People made fun of him and then got progressively quieter and quieter as he didn't answer (still signed on.)

gopunk and Kelvrick contacted his ISP, who called the police, who showed up at his house. He got counseling, went on some anti-depressents, got a gf, and still shows up on AIM every now and again (though I don't talk to him.)

Mock OT all you want - some good has come of it.
