Has anyone ever installed a more powerful fan in a powersupply?

If so, did it make any temperature difference inside the case? Is it a standard 80mm fan or is it something special?

I have not installed a more powerful fan, but I have replaced the stock fan with a much quieter Panaflo 80mm.

The intake fan on Enermax power supplies is usually a 92mm fan and the exhaust is usually a 80mm fan. I assume most power supplies are built this way. If you are looking for power supply fans try here. It should improve the heat flow of the power supply unit if your fans are lacking. Enermax makes darn good power supplies, so the fans they use should be pretty darn spiffy. Good luck!
