a few days ago my middle finger began to give me some grief. It would 'pop' when I bent and then extended it. This pop would be accompanied by a weird movement in my wrist that you could see and hear. Yesterday it became quite painful and this morning it wouldn't pop at all. It was too painful to. I have now spent the entire day with it extended with no real relief. It's very sore and bending causing a pain level of 6 (out of 10). The finger wants to lock either extended or curled and the opposite movement is not pleasant.

I already have a dr appt for tuesday but it's getting worse so I may weasel my way in tomorrow.

Yep, I had a trigger thumb. It would randomly happen and was so painful I became hesitant to use it. Had surgery to fix it, been good ever since.

Yes, had it in both hands. Gripping a steering wheel will do it. I got rid of mine after a few cortisone injections by rubbing cannabis oil into my hands for about 2 months. I got a doc's recommendation for it so the company won't freak out if I get tested. Completely went away. ymmv
