Yeah last years Chem 101. Had a cute beloved patriot that never smiled, a cute Indian that frequently smiled, and a plain old white girl that wasnt too bad either.
 
Enjoy it now, once you get above organic and the pre-med and biology hotties take all the chem that they need you're stuck with obnoxious guys for partners. I kid, I always seemed to have good looking lab partners, though PChem 2 Lab was one of my last labs and kinda like that. No, I'm not good looking just that cute girls tend to find smart lab partners..
 
I had a hot lab partner. I handed her a chunk of pure sodium.

Some of us don't go out much.

And if you're in an engineering major, the gender ratio is pretty crazy, assuming there even is one. In my major, the graduating class was entirely male. (There were a few women in some of the other engineering majors though, but not many.) The traditional "sausage-fest" complaints ended sometime around the transition between the sophomore and junior years, when it became apparent that there was no hope for anything different.

Doesn't really do that either...it gives on hydrogen on contact with water, plus a lot of heat. Then the hydrogen goes off. Ever detonated a 3L roundbottom with chunks of sodium? Quenching stills is serious business!

I haven't had a hot lab partner per se, but as a TA I've had my fair share of smoking hot undergrads.


Then again, my wife does have a shirt that says "Experiment with a chemist!" so maybe that qualifies 😀

I've tried to divide by zero many times to figure out a ratio. So far, I haven't created a wormhole in space-time though. 🙁

I took civil engineering, which is among the "easiest" engineering majors, and most female friendly. It was still a 1:3 ratio for female:male. There are some more females in my environmental engineering grad courses, but omfg, stay away... All the females at my job are egomaniacs, narcissists, uptight, and not particularly hot. The ones in school that were hot, or above average at least, moved onto something else after graduating.
