Has anyone ever had a defective HP ink cartridge?

The ink cartridge that came with the Apollo 2150u, from the staples Scanner/printer deal, came with the colors mixed up somehow. I had posted that my print quality was greenish, but finally figured out why.

Anyway, has anyone ever had a similar problem with a cartridge and did HP resolve it?

I fired an e-mail to their support and should hear from them after 2 days.

I first called Apollo support and they told me that it was under warranty from HP and I needed to contact them about it.

Yea I did once, good luck with their support.
I called their number to talk to someone and finally got a new one, it took about 3 weeks
Try their toll free number, it should be in the manual

I had the same problem with my wife's new printer. The color was indescribable. The big clue was the muddy looking mess you could see in the cartridge. Office Max replaced the cartridge no questions.

The slightly shady option is to buy a new ink cart, and then exchange the broken one for a new one. You at least end up with 2 working carts.

I dont like to do it but OEM's tend to think their cartidges are never defective.
