I tend to do this often and it bothers me
I keep wanting my voice to be clear and the more I concentrate on it, the worse this problem gets

I don't think it's the cold or allergy.. I don't know how this problem started about 3 months ago. Before that, I never even thought about this sort of stuff

That's kinda weird. I something similar (but different) for a while with clearing my throat, I went to a doctor about it and he said it was acid reflux. This Doctor was a dope in my opinion though.

Ah, I remember when I had that in the 6th grade. It totally sucks! :( I basically had to clear my throat endlessly and it lasted about 8 months or so, I believe it developed from when I got a cold. I had posted a long drawn out solution to it for another poster a long while back and I kinda forgot it. I believe I basically summed it up as saying that you need to get sick again (as thats probably what happened).

Or you could (and this is prolly the better solution) is to try and drink water for a while as you're probably dehydrated or enough to prevent the mucus from leaving your throat. I've noticed that it's extremely difficult to impossible to remove mucus unless you're hydrated as it's very sticky when there isn't any extra water available.

Drink like 3 glasses of water and let us know if you're able to cough it up and it goes away or not. Other wise, I don't know what to tell you.
