Has anyone ever found a good toaster?

The lever won't stay down. I've repaired it several times, but it's beyond help this time. Toaster reviews are loaded with negative opinions--no one seems happy with their toaster. Have any of you found a good one?

Zim likes to just take a blow torch to his bread to make toast. Huzzah!

We have a 4-slice "Avant Deluxe" from T-Fal that works great. Had it for 3 years, love it.

It looks good, too. That's one to consider.

Thanks!

Why would anyone in Michigan order a toaster from the UK...and one that costs at least 120 pounds before shipping?

As it should, given the price. I did note that several people have bought refurbished ones for less than $100. That puts it more in line with what I might be willing to spend.

I use the 6 dollar one I bought at Walmart.

Does your toast taste better than mine? I think not...
