Has anyone ever escaped the cops in a high speed chase before?

Nooo, they are going to let you roam free around the city with a missle launcher.

Uh, why do you need to ask this question? Of course they would. Not only would they continue following you but their pursuit would heat up even more especially since you would have just blown up a couple of their comrades.

well i know it will never happen but woudn't they want to stop following me considering that they could be next targeted if i have any more misslies in my car?

No, they would rather die in the line of duty than allow a maniac with a missle launcher loose on a city. I don't understand why you don't understand the logic in this. Plus, despite what Hollywood shows I don't think that it is very easy to accurately shoot a missle launcher at a high speed moving vehicle while IN a high speed moving vehicle.
