Well...

If we're gonna do this thing - let's do it right I said.

So, I've got a crackrack sitting here with alot of cycles to add to TA Cube-Seti.

Does anyone have any experience doing something like Mosix and running SETI on it?
It sounds a wee bit intriguing to me...

This would be on the order of a 12 Ghz cluster.

It'd be rather pointless really, as the SETI client already breaks things into small data/high work packets. You'd just be breaking them into smaller data/less work packets, which defeats the purpose (unless all you're going for is lowest average CPU time per WU).

But no, I haven't tried it myself. It'd be an interesting project, but with no real benefit that I can see (it'd wind up taking longer per WU if anything).
