Has anyone ever done an RMA with Kingston?

I had a bad DIMM, and I sent it to Kingston on July 2, and I haven't seen a package or heard anything from them since.

How long did it take for you to get your stuff back?

wow.... that's waay too long. I did the cross-ship option with my bad ram. My ram arrived in 3 days time and I fed-exed my bad stick to them. Always do cross-ship if it's available. Fastest way to get back your memory.. However, even if you did the ship first method, kingston sends the ram Fedex 2nd day. What shipment method did you use?

I live in Canada and had to do an RMA with Kingston. They give me a Fedex account number to send in the defective ram. I received the replacement in the same week. Outstanding service. Something must be wrong with your RMA. Call them.

I hope you sent it First Class Mail - NOT ground meaning Parcel Post. As they can ship back by the same method or faster. I sent mine out from upstate NY on Monday Apr.26th by First Class and the PostAwful shows by my Delivery Confirmation number that it arrived on the 29th. The RMA dept. claims they received it on the 30th (shows an in house delay there). I wrote them an email and was told they were shipping it out on Mon May 3rd. Which they did via FedEx Saver and I received it on the 6th.
. Kingston is supposed to have an RMA tracking system on their web site, but it wasn't working at that time so I ended up calling them to find out my RMA status. IAC, you should try the online tracking system and if you don't find anything, give them a call at least to be sure it's been received.
. Here's hoping it's been received, as dealing with the Post Awful re. lost packages is like pulling teeth w/o anaesthetic...
.bh.

Where's the :sun: ?

I had an RMA through Kingston long before then, and still nothing.
it was for 2 ECC sticks of RAM that did not fit the server I was putting it in (even though it was suppose to!)
so they gave me an RMA, we sent the RAM back... and that was in mid June.
