Has anyone ever been to The Viper Room in LA?

Pretty cool. Very small. Dress code is probably based on who's playing there at the time.

There is the novelty of seeing where River Phoenix died.

My friend JC will be playing there Tuesday night and wants me to go support. I'm not really a rock n' roll-type... I can appreciate the Stones and the Strokes, but I prefer hiphop/house/trance. I don't want to go if the majority of attendees are going to be be pretentious, plastic Hollywood types.

I went there once with some bboys but it turns out they were only interested in my eggs so I ditched them and blew my rent money in Vegas instead.

Generally not the case at most local concerts I've been to unless the band is a real up-and-comer.

Saw Weez...er...I mean "Goat Punishment" there a year or so ago. Was a lot of fun.

You won't have to worry about "what types" are there, because not only does it vary greatly with the band playing, but there's only 250 people crammed into a venue the size of a good sized living room, so you'll be too busy trying not to get crushed to death.

Definetly a tiny place but also slightly more upscale than the roxy or whisky type club on sunset. Overall not a bad place but more than likely not the type of music that you are looking for.

Yeah, I met her at that porn convention in Vegas last year (dragged along to it when I was dating a cop obsessed with Kobe Tai). Francine's VERY flaky and has the IQ of a dinner fork, but she has a very pretty face nonetheless. Aria Giovanni is drop-dead gorgeous, and Adrianna Sage was beautiful, sweet, and super-touchy. I like her. 😀

Bud Lee let me stand in line to meet his ex-wife, Asia Carrera. He turned everyone else away (all guys), and I guess he let me slip in because I was a nonthreatening Asian female. 😛 Really nice guy, he sincerely loves that woman... I took a pic with her, and look like a peanut in comparison (she is SO TALL, esp. in 7-inch heels). But anyway, that's a story for another time...

if your near pendelton, be careful, watch out for those flames, they are getting it under control, but not quite there yet.

edit: and since i posted in a viper room thread, no i havent been, but i had an ex who was there the night river pheonix died. she left like 30 minutes before the whole ordeal though.

edit02: at oceanside, go eat at kaylani's. good hawaiian food. think they are closed on sundays though.
