Has anyone ever been to a gun show?

We're going hunting this summer (my dad and I) and I'd like to check out some of the guns. What kinds of guns do they exhibit at gun shows? Do they have SIGs, AKs, HKs, etc, (guns from CounterStrike basically ).

Do individuals sell guns, or do companies and stores sell thlem also? Are there free catalogs anything?

Yup every month. Most guns shows you can find just about EVERYTHING. It just depends on the state you live in.

yeah, i read about it, its airsoft actually, I don't blame them for outlawing them, because they look like the real thing, and there are actual metal bodies you can get for them, which makes them more real, but all airsofterers are mature. I dont' see why they're banning those airsoft guns that shoot plastic bbs, but not ban the air guns that shoot metal bbs at 600fps.

I doubt that they'll let you in to a gun show, AlphaIVT. Gun shows in the fall and winter months often have a sign outside saying "Your IQ must be this high to enter." And beside the sign is a thermometer.

AlphaIVT, try doing some research on the web. Look up gun manufacturers websites, visit the rec.guns newsgroup. Guns are not toys, stop talking about them as though they were. Gun owners have hard enough time protecting their rights without people wanting to play video games with live ammo.
