Hi,

has anyone encountered compatibility issues between the PDP PC3200-XBL memory and MSI Neo2 Platinum? I am getting tons of errors during the test 8 of memtest86+ V1.5 if I run this memory at 2-2-2-5-1T @ 200Mhz, 2.6 or 2.7V (which is supposed to be supported). I thought I had bad RAM so I borrowed another set but they fail in the same way, and so does mixing the sticks from the two sets. Other than the timing settings, the other settings in the BIOS are all pretty conservative, and I am not doing any overclocking. I've tried both slot 1&2, 3&4, and 1&3(which would disable dual channel and set speed to 166mhz), and they all fail. Then I tried setting timings to 3-7-10-6-1T, still fail in test 8. Finally, I found the following different configs that pass the test:

Set timings to 2-2-2-5-2T: PASS
Set memory speed to 166mhz at 2-2-2-5-1T: PASS
Using only one stick of memory in the system at 2-2-2-5-1T: PASS

Can someone tell me what is the culprit? Is it an incompatibility issue or do I have a bad board?
