Guys I need a little help....
I've had two 36GB Raptor for a long time. A while back, the connector on one of the drives broke when I was doing some cleaning. I didn't RMA it cause they were OEM and bought off a guy on Ebay. It's been sitting there for a while up until now.
Long story short...I'm building a new rig (and would like to utilize this drive again in a Raid 0 config.) and wanted to ask if anyone has encountered this before and have been able to fix it. Would using 'crazy glue' work? Or soldering the metal connectors directly to a sata cable or taking to a shop to get it fix? Anyways I'll post some pics for you guys to see.
Any input is as always, greatly appreciated!
