Question Has anyone else seen Win11's "memory integrity" feature hit performance noticeably?

I was setting up a Windows 2000 VM in Virtualbox on a customer on their new laptop the other day (13th gen i5), and Win2k absolutely crawled to the extent that 20 minutes during the first (graphical stage) boot process, I gave up and powered down the VM. Since it did the same thing on Win11 on my home PC, I played around a bit, and then found a suggestion online to disable memory integrity, then the VM performance was back to normal. I just wonder if some of the laggyness I routinely see in Win11 might be down to this / other Win11 security features.
