has anyone else notice this about two tv shows?

Judging Amy and StarTrek Enterprise.
I just find the mother in Judging Amy is so alike to the doctor in Enterprise, just a male version. The same way how they talk and all, movements, facial movements. Am I the only one who thinks so and .. am I weird?
