My rents surprised my with a voucher to go to either one of the experiences (it was a livingsocial deal) and I was unable to decide which one of the two to do since I don't really follow either one. Any suggestions?

They both look pretty much the same, only the car is different. I am a huge nascar fan but I would go with the indycar. I think the single seater would be much more different than would get to try out any other time.

Nascar is nothing, just going around corners are bumping into others for no reason. WTTC or BWTCC is the way to go. :D

What track are you near, or where would you be doing it?

Personally I'd take Andretti unless you're running a special track for Nascar (Daytona, Talladega, etc)

Texas Motor Speedway.

I actually run track days with the local Corvette club, this was a surprise from my rents. Not a huge Nascar or Indy fan, but it was a nice gesture and it will be enjoyable to go out with my dad and chill for a bit :D

i had looked at the richard petty experience, and from what i read it's LAME. i suspect it would be similar to the nascar experience. check the websites, and pick the one that lets YOU drive, and at speed.

I did the Richard Petty thing years ago. Probably around 99 or 00. The cars got up to around 150-160. Enough to get the sensation of speed from it.

Honestly, I am open wheel guy at heart. I would pick the open wheel one.

Then again, I got the luxury of driving a Lola Chevy Indy car. That was a blast.
