Has anyone delt with Dell e-gift card refunds?

I had an order that I canceled. The rep over chat stated that the funds would be available immediately as I wanted to make a different purchase. It's been a day and my gift cards are still showing up as empty. Any idea how to resolve this? I have a saved cart on hold and I don't want to lose it. :(
