Has anyone cracked open an IB or Haswell XPS 27 Touch?

I'm taking delivery of a couple of the Haswells to replace the non-touch ones I still have, and I also have some existing IB touch units. What really pains me on all of these is the IRST arrangement - the small SSD + 2Gb HDD, which to this used-to-SSD guy doesn't really work well. You can see things suddenly grind to a halt from time to time while the HDD catches up, and it's quite annoying especially in Metro.

What I'd like to do is to crack them all open and replace with SSD throughout, as well as turn off IRST of course. I'm wondering if this is something I can do without too much trouble.
