Has anyone changed the backlights on their keyboard? i want brighter!

I am currently using a Logitech G110 keyboard. Lately i found myself wishing that the back lights were brighter. Especially with 3d glasses on, i have to look under the glasses to re-assign my fingers.

How hard would it be to put brighter/more led lights in this keyboard?

Im not too worried about screwing it up, because I'm thinking about getting a sidewinder x4. The reason being that i hate how the logitech wrist support is detachable and isn't actually on the keyboard. It falls off all the time, and is juts annoying.

anyone have any experience doing this?

I have two Logitech 4740's - the LEDs have 3 levels of brightness. Can adapt to any room lighting. Sharp, and evenly distributed LED light.
