Has Anyone Built There Whole Computer System with parts from the For Sale/ Trade Forum?

There seems to be some good deals in the For Sale forum.
What parts did you guys buy from the forum to build your rig?
 
Yes many times. What parts? Well if I built whole systems from parts I bought at the FS forum wouldn't it be all parts?
 
the only part in my system from FS/FT is a lite-on 16x dvd and an 80gb wd se hdd

i had a multitude of parts running when i started this system though, but i have upgraded many things, and resold a few.
 
Never. Used parts from the FS/FT forum smell like... fish. I buy all my parts, new, from newegg. Those smell like... ham.
 
Yes, my first computer actually, everything from motherboard to the Inwin case. I bought mostly new or lightly-used parts from the For Sale/Trade forum. BTW, that was 5 years ago and that computer is still alive and ticking. Check my heatware (140+).

Back then it wasn't such a gamble as there weren't as many trolls ripping people off.

 
i came pretty close. for my current computer, i got everything off of FS/FT forums on AT except dvd-rw, cd-rw, the hd's hs/f and case.
