has anyone bought anything from compgeeks recently?

i placed an order for a dvd player on SUNDAY and apparently it hasn't even been shipped yet. i'm wondering if i'm the only one, i think i should just get it off of ebay, it's cheaper and it'll ship faster...

AznMaverick, im my past experience, computergeeks.com isn't the fastest shippers in the world, but w/ their prices and service, I think it's worth the small wait, hope this helps

If you look on the site when you order there is a HUGE warning that they are updating their systems and everything will be delayed an extra three days ( at least thats what I got yesterday when I ordered.)

This happens every year after CHristmas and New Years. Last year, they moved to a new location at this time, and it took forever to get things shipped as well. But be patient, your order will come If you can't wait, call and cancel it.

yep, that's pretty normal for compgeeks. nevertheless, they are good people and laways ship you exactly what you ordered and pack it nicely.

Haven't been getting Compgeeks specials by email recently. But I have never had a problem ordering from them though.

Isn't MLK day going to be an issue with shipping? I do know that some shippers are only running certain higher priorities today. That's not CompGeeks fault.

I ordered something the last week of December and haven't heard anything, not even a confirmation e-mail. I'm waiting for my CC bill to see if I was even charged.

I have always rcvd prompt confirmation e-mails from compgeeks. To hell with waiting, I would
call them and see if they can verify that the order was rcvd. It's not unheard of that online orders don't make it all the way through the ordering process due to computer glitches. You might even be able to get some compensation if they find the snaffu and realize that the order is so delayed in getting fulfilled.
