Has anyone bought an Emachine

Do they come with a restore cd, or a windows xp cd, or both?

Also, if it comes with a restore cd, what options do you have?

I never bought one but repaired several. I recall one having a restore cd but couldn't get it to worky.

My mom's owned 2 eMachines... very inexpensive, been very reliable. I'm sure it came with a restore CD, not sure if it came with an actual XP CD, but it may have.

Can't say for sure, but I doubt it has an XP disk. My compaq laptop only came with restore disks.

not many OEM's come with window's xp cds anymore.

restore cds don't get any easier.

I bought one for my Grandparents about a year or so ago and it came with restore CD's.

bought two at the same time, two years ago. They were display models and are like 900mhz. but I got htem for $200.00 each including 3 yr options. Because they were display models, some of the documentation was missing.

But one of them did come with a restore CD and a separate software CD. It is propriortory. (sp)

I am thinking of selling it now. Reliable as he!! but cannot upgrade it, and I have too many systems here alreay.
