Has anyone bought a laptop from Dell Auctions?

I'm looking to buy a used laptop from Dell auctions and I'm wondering how secure the auctions are(meaning will the seller actually ship) and the condition of the products. I am aware of the fact that they do come with warranties, but what if I get one that has a cracked case or scratches on the monitor? Is Dell in anyway responsible for what they sell on their auctions? Any advice/experience related to Dell auctions would be much appreciated. Thanks!
