Has anyone been to "The Ring" website?

I went to the website trying to figure out what this movie is all about...unfortunately the website is more fvcked up than the previews are (it's actually pretty disturbing).

I've already seen this movie at a special advanced screening. This movie is VERY scary. Whoever watches the videotape will get a phone call afterwards. The person on the phone tells the person that they have 7 days to live. The videotape is weird. Spooky isn't it?

The Japanese Version scared the sh*t out of me and I have to keep my lights on and the TV in bedroom away to sleep (there's something in the movie about a TV, that's all I'll say). I did watch all 3 of those movies in one go so the effect might have been magnified.

I saw the Japanese version and it was very scary. It creeped me out for the longest time. I get the impression the US version won't be as good though.

sweet, I haven't seen a good freaky movie in awhile. Hopefully there's not much lost int he translation....or any scenes cut out.

I strongly suggest you see the original first, there's just no way they could ever make it more scarier. You can't just replace Sadako with some random young girl and name him Samara Morgan, I mean WTF!? I'm definetly going to see the remake too, I hope it's not too "Hollywoodized".

Hopefully there's not much lost int he translation....or any scenes cut out.

uhh.. it's a complete remake of the original Japanese movie.
