I tried it...3 things I didn't like. The internet back button on my mouse doesn't work, it doesn't stay maximized if you exit and open it again, and after you fill in a login or something, you can't just hit enter, you have to hit tab or use your mouse. Loading webpages seem to be faster than IE though.

As a fairly dedicated IE hater (look for my other posts in the current "How's NS6?" threads) I have to say that I really dislike NS6 and will prolly stay with NS 4.76 for the foreseeable future. Really disappointing.:(

Anyone know if they have improved the JVM (Java Virtual Machine) in v6 or is it still the same one as in 4.x?

Linux version is sweet and stable. W2K is unstable :( hevent tried on Win9x yet. It is faster than IE noticably. I like the multiple email function, considering I have always used Messenger, that is a bonus. The intagrated IM function is cool, tho, not the full fuctionality of AIM, its good enough. I am really disapointed that the WinXX version is unstable cause I would use it as my main browser, but 2-3 crashes in the course of a day is suck and I can't afford to have that kind of unreliability. :( Maybe after a couple revisions.

When they released that beta a while back, it made my Cel 450, 128 MB feel like a 486. It was promptly removed. Unless they've made some major improvements, I see no reason to stop using IE.

Using nutscrape on a windows system is like lying on your back and having a bull stamp on your testicles.

The thing is we want to install and use Netscape to escape M$'s IE oppression if for no better reason. Yet time after time NS's product is simply mediocre or crappy. Oh well, there's always Opera plus IE isn't so bad (except for pathetic cookie control/site security and the ever-lame "favoriates").

Here's another vote for Opera -- been using it since 3.60 as my primary browser, and while it's Javascript implementation isn't up to snuff, for general-purpose browsing it's faster than either of the other two.
