I was reading on another forum a thread about the "high performace" mousepds like FUnc, etc. One person brought up an interesting idea, to make your own pad.
They said to take a sheet of plexiglass, sand with a high grit sand paper, and put contact paper on it. It sounds like it could work.
I started getting stuff for it yesterday. I got an 8x10 sheet of Lucite Tuff (since my lowes didn't plexiglass, and the sheets were .88 a piece)
Anyway, I still got to get the contact paper and then put it all together. Im thinking of making a stencil with a Japanese character with it, and spray painting it on a sheet of red contact paper in black, and then putting that on Lucite, and maybe put a clear sheet on top as well.
Has anybody tried a project like this? If so, how did it come out? Does it work well?
