Has anybody noticed the $10-20 price drop from last week on most ati cards?

i checked the x800 and x800 xl everyday last week and this week on newegg. (i'm gonna make a system soon) the xl was no lower than 270, and the x800 was no lower than 165. now, the xl is down to 250 and the x800 is down to...i don't wanna say it. i posted the 6600gt on hot deals for 108, and everybody bought one...i didn't get one . lets just say the x800 is DIRT CHEAP. the xt and xtpe's have dropped a little too. maybe "new" inventory is coming soon??

Even with the 7800GT falling to $369 on some models the X800XL line hardly budges. If this keeps up I'm going to say to hell with ATI and check out a GT.

He's right, there was a price dip on a few manufacturers Sept 1.

It's because of the ridiculously awesome X800GT introduction, and even that card has dropped a little in price.
