Has anybody here shopped at Azatec?

Whats the catch with those prices?
I'm thinking about getting a 20"-22" CRT for gaming at work. I found this site and would like some feed back on it from you guys.

Thanks

Oops for got link 😱

Azatec.com

got 22" NEC DiamondTron (FE1250+). Came in great condition. power and vga cables included. 6 month warranty. try to buy stuff that has free shipping.

Probably lower prices because it says "used, new, and refurbished." Just make sure you read about what your buyingso you know the condition. Looks fine to me otherwise.

Oh, yeah, I'm aware those are "re-conditioned" crts. I'm more concerned about their customer service. Like: "Is it difficult to get a hold of some body if you need to return something?" That sort of thing.

How fast after you placed the order did they ship it?

Thats pretty fast shipping. Now, how long was it to have it delivered? Over a week?

People need to stop talking about Azatec, I'm so tempted now that my NEC 950+ has a nice three inch scratch in the screen.

Thanks for making me explain to the wife why I need to spend another ~$300 on the PC! I've had a 21" Sony Trin rebadged-as-HP for the last ten years, bu tit's starting to get a little wavy in the corners and the brightness is dying. It was refurbed when I bought it then, so I have no idea how old it really is. Site looks great, if they can keep their stock up long enough. 80% of their goods are out of stock 🙁.

I've seen my share of other monitors and I really like my NEC still.

I seriously considered getting a 1250+ from Azatek in the past. Maybe I'll see what's in stock around Christmas 🙂

They have pretty decent prices on refurb IBM P260 monitors. I have that monitor at work and I'm debating on whether to buy a refurb for home (to replace my dead 22" Cornerstone) or a Dell LCD. The P260s really are nice monitors.

or one of the OEM 2060u's for like $270 would be sweet. my 1250+ had 20,000 hours on it when i got it. manufactured week 42 2001.

I bought a Mit 2060u from Azatec two years ago for $359, with shipping $410.
It was listed as A-1 condition, they are now out of stock and listed at $375.

I'm sure they were in Arizona at the time of my purchase. It was shipped in a normal cardboard box with molded hard foam front and back. FedEx got it to my door undamaged. I'm in SoCal.

The monitor was near new. A very tiny ding at the top left corner of the bezel is all I could find.

The reviews rated that this model >VG for text and graphics. It is.
Since this was a major purchase for me, I called them. At first it was off-putting...I was told
by a guy with an Eastern European accent that it is a company owned/run by Russian Nationals. They have another large company in Florida, maybe that is why they moved to Dallas.

Would I buy from them again? yes, but would shop around first.
This display is run at 100+ no matter what resolution is selected.

If you go NEC/Mit be sure and download the Navaset software at NEC's site. It permits
adjustment on screen rather than using the buttons at the bottom of the display.

My Mit's DoM is 23rd week of 2001. That's what Navaset indicates.

I reread this post and if it sounds like fanboy, that's not the intent.
