i just heard one of nancy wilson's songs guess who i saw today, and i must say that i really really like the song! what genre of music is it? could anybody suggest more songs that are similar to guess who i saw today?

Also sang a duet with Mike Reno (from Loverboy)
And did some other solo stuff... good singer, hefty IIRC.

Wrong. You're thinking of Ann Wilson, the lead singer for Heart. Nancy is her sister, who plays guitar.


 
it reminds me somewhat of short musical, where it tells a story and you can really picture scenarios with your mind. kind of a mixture of jazz and blues sung in a piano bar. oh i do not know what i am trying to say.
