I was shopping around in a Sam's Club this morning (the one in South Point, Ohio is pitiful! - Thank God I'm only here visiting.) and spotted a barebones kit box by the name of CPU Builders. The originating company is Stratitec.
The box in particular (for $199.98) contains a Midtower ATX w/ 300watt pwr spply, SiS735 mobo (but does not list manufacturer), S3 Savage 4 (32mb), keyboard, mouse, and diskette drive. All I need is to provide hard drive, OS & software, and CPU.
Has anybody heard of them? Any quality issues? This would help me to put together a home system for my parents.
Thanks.
