Can I do this reasonably/inexpensively?

Have a bunch Id like to put on CD.

Im willing to buy a sound card with inputs but are there any take will take low level phono cartridge inputs?

Can I hook up a receiver with the TT attached to a sound card?

Have an HP 9100i burner.

Any help/ideas/input?

thebestMAX: LMK how it turns out and sounds...I'm planning on burning a bunch of my dad's Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Doors, CCR, and Beatles LPs to CD.

Rip the LPs to .wav, clean them up with steinberg.
Then burn them to CD.
Or encode them to MP3 and archive them.

I do it all the time for a release group.
