It'll be for your 900mhz T-bird? It's ok for a non-oc system (cheap & will cool a non-oc T-bird fine). Newegg has a bunch of Thermaltake coolers at low prices (check out coolermaster as well...another cheap & descent performing cooler).

Sorry. Nope, it'll be for a new XP (1600 or higher). I've got to decide on the cpu cooler and a video card for my new setup.
I've heard good things about the sk6. Just not sure about trying to get it and mounting an 80mm fan on it or just going with something like the Volcano 7.

It would be a decent stock cooler. Dont forget to replace the thermal pad with thermal compound ;)

I use a Volcano 6CU+ (7000 rpm fan). Doesn't cool all that well and too loud in my opinion-they claim 39 dBA. I would call it noisy but bearable. I have two of them and one of the fans is crapping out already after two months of use.

I will buy something different next time.

I have the volcano 6cu and I think it's not so great. I would try something else if could do it over again.
