As much as women want to act independant and revolutionary these days, want to pay half the bill, work instead of stay home, and stuff like that, I've never heard of or seen a woman actually ask a man out instead of the other way around. Why?

because they know that men will ask them anyways, so going to ask a guy out is just extra work ;)

Do you mean as in her actually asking "wanna go to a movie and dinner sometime" or her giving you digits? (which implies she wants to go on a date with you) I've had 2 the latter, none of the first.

girls are either too lazy, stuck up, shy, or a combination of those factors :)

that is why you know if a girl is asking you out, she probably is not full of herself and she is outgoing...which is are all good things unless she looks like my butt :p

hehe that was superficial but you'd all be lying if you didn't agree with me (girls too)

I've been asked in indirect ways a few times. By indirect i mean her friend telling me she wants to go out and stuff... I think it might mainly be the shyness factor.

Yeah, it was sort of a funny experience :D I asked her out first and she said no, but I'd already gotten a Valentine's Day present for her, so I figgered I'd give it to her anyway. Then she asked me out :D

Nice Colleen, did you accept, and can I have pictures? ;)

Nope no girls have ever asked me out, but then I probably look something like HenHowC's butt ;) Well not quite but I'm really not that physically attractive.

I also don't spend a lot of time with girls in that sense. I actually probalby have more female friends than male, but just friends. Not girls that I would "date" for the most part.

I'm also come off as kind of arrogant...I don't mean to, but I do.
