No, not with any serious implications. And I've never hit a female with serious or unserious intentions. Hell, I don't think I've gotten into any guy fights either. Don't do stupid stuff and you'll be amazed how much drama you can avoid.

Exactly!

I've been slapped by a couple but never hit back. All you guys who say it's ok need to man up, turn around and walk away.

I agree. I was slapped by a girlfriend and I slapped her back. Noone was hurt but I was ashamed. I left her house and walked home - it was about 7 miles, 2 - 4 AM.

Well, I have hit women plenty of times, but never in anger - and never in the face. I had some HS and college friends who like hitting me in the shoulder so I hit them back in the shoulder - no harm no foul. My wife and I play fight - but thats usually me blocking her hands out of the way. This girl i work with enjoys blindsiding me with punches. I was talking to a customer and she snuck up behind me and hit me really hard in the kidney - it hurt. A bit later in the day when she was talking to a customer I hit her in the thigh - hard. She had to tell the customer she would be right back - when she could think and walk again. We both had a good laugh (and still do) about the whole thing.

Never hit anyone, nobody's ever hit me. Jesus, you guys pick some winners to hang around with. I guess I'm a little more selective.

I got cracked in the face by an old girlfriend, but instead of responding in kind I just turned my head back towards her and laughed in her face. For some reason she found that infuriating.

I cracked a girls wrist once... Fun story:

She hit on me while she was dating my friend. I told her if she didn't stop, I would tell my friend. She didn't stop; I told my friend. She's walking up to me pretty quickly the next day, and she tries to slap me, i grab her hand and shoulder, push her against the wall. "If you don't stop, you'll regret it." She glanced my nuts with her knee (thank god for boxers, or I would have a higher pitched voice today!) and I grabbed both of her wrists in one hand, and pushed them against her chest, knocking her into the wall. She starts wailing and yelling rape. Unfortunately for her, everyone nearby was watching the whole time. Fun, eh?

I didn't want to hurt her, but I'll defend myself if a woman goes on the offensive. I did feel guilty afterwards, but I don't think I was in the wrong.

Sad to say, when I was younger, I slapped a young lady back after she slapped me in the face. I've learned not to hit woman, just wrestle with them! The rewards are so sweet afterwards! And even if they aren't just think of all the FF's you get while you're wrestling!

What gets me is when you say "Jane slapped Michael because she was mad at him." You get a certain image in your head. But if you were to say "Michael slapped Jane because he was mad at her." He is a abusive asshole.

Thats kinda on the same lines as a man can sleep around with a bunch of chicks and no one thinks less of him while if a woman does it she's considered a slut.

I dont see it that way... if a man does it i would consider him a man-whore...

everytime i see a sitcom showing a woman slapping/punching or throwing sh|t at a man it totally pisses me off. If the roles were reversed it would never make it to TV. Violence like that on TV makes people feel and belive that that kind of behavior is acceptable and part of our society.

My wife and I have been married for 18 years and we have had a rule that if we ever get mad enough at each other to actually strike the other, the one who got hit has every right to retaliate.

About 11 years ago we got into a big argument bad enough where she closed fisted punched me in the left pec. It was lightning fast and damn hard I had no chance to block it or even suspect it was coming. I was shocked and in disbelief that she hit me, and the shock on her face told me right away she was sorry and couldnt believe that she actually hit me. I didn?t hit her back I just left for a few hours until we both cooled off. When I got home she was waiting for me crying I hugged her and cried with her the we had incredible makeup sex. The next day I had 4 dark purple bruises on my chest from her knuckles.
