Isn't this a bit late? 2:54PM ET was peak eclipse.


I saw the so-called "supermoon" one last year and that was pretty cool, both when it was in full eclipse and when it was in partial (looked like it had a note missing from it).

Oh damn, did not realize it was going to be an eclipse too. I think it might actually be clear out, but I'm at work. would have brought my camera gear.

I need to get a better tripod setup for my telephoto lens though, can't seem to find anything. The 1 screw style that is standard is just not enough for a big lens like that.
