I wish every American take a good look this post and see the true face of Israel and their supporter. Actually I am intotal agrement with Israel. Not only they don't appreciate the foreign aid (Fact, Israel received the biggest chunk of American foreign aid), they blame American for not giving them the freedom to take up more ME land, and kill more Arab.
Actually there is alot of truth to that. If the US hadn`t stepped in on numerous occasions and tried to stop Israel from decimating the ME becaase of the stoopidity of israel`s neighbors. Thus was would not be necessary.
If the world had left well enough alone and allowed Israel to deal once and for all with the PLO as well as hezbollah and the people protecting Hezbollah this war would not have been necessary.
As it is israel is determined this time not compete whatever goal they have before allowing anybody to influence the events of the past.
I mean, why not just let them deal with the Arab anyway they want and let them suffer whatever consequence. If they think throwing nuclear weapon at some country is wise, let them do it and see if the region and the world is gonna stand by and watch. If they think taking up more Palestinian land and killing more Arab is gonna strengthen themselves, just let them do it and see how many more people are gonna join Hamas and Hezbollah to blow up Israelis.

Why give them our hard earn tax money, getting blamed for their problem, and making the entire region and religion our enemy.

The same could be said for the Soviet Unuion which also is playinga role in that region of the world, albeit more covertly.

I read that paper a day or two ago. It was, as I previously said, very revealing and informative. I sometimes feel that American and Israeli interests clash with eachother and we always bow out to Israel.

You guys crack me up with the little bit of aid we give israel when the only democracy, freedom of conscience, freedom of religion, freedom from religion, human rights etc country out of all these ME countries the US is giving aid to is Israel. The only country you'd feel safe if you were beemed in startrek like, out of all these countries is Israel. The only country that shows temperance, patenice and actually cares about innocent tragety is Israel. The others explictly target innocents.

I'm wondering why we don't cut off aid entirely to these horrid human spirit crushing islamic regimes and only give to israel since they have the same values as we do.

Instead we are giving arms to countries who practice barabric public stonings, corporal punishment, including amputations of hands and feet for robbery, and floggings. Slavery and human trafficking. Kill gays and free thinkers. Have no political and religious freedom.

The world is upside down and America has been bought but in the opposite way of what the authors imply.

Done with the propaganda? All of what you have mentioned is rot. The treatment of Arabs in Israel as second class citizens is proof enough of how similar Israel really is to us. Last time I checked, we didn't discriminate Arabs as second class citizens. The Israeli patience, temperance and care is becoming clearer as this Israel-Lebanon war goes on as more innocent civilians die. The protest from Israel over the Norwegian cartoon/caricature of Olmert is proof enough of how much they love freedom.

Egypt gets so much US aid for accepting Israel. This is indirect aid to Israel. Now that I consider it, we should add that to the total aid we give Israel directly and indirectly.

The question we need to ask ourselves is "How would we feel about the Israelis if they weren't Jewish?"

What if they were Hindu, or Zoroastrian, Christian, or even Muslim? Why does that Jewishness give them a free pass? Because of the Holocaust, or because of the guilt trip about the Holocaust?

And, uhh, tell us, Zebo, just how many UN resolutions against Israel that the US has vetoed?

I suspect they'd be a lot more reasonable if they didn't have Uncle Sam at their back...
